JSim Movies Page

Overview

This page lists JSim instructional videos. Each narrated video is a couple of minutes long and illustrates a particular JSim functionality. Videos are intended as a complement to the written instructions in Running JSim .

Videos are in Flash format, so you'll need a Flash plugin installed in your browser in order to view them. Most browsers already have this plugin installed. If you don't, visit the Adobe download center for instructions. Narration is included, so you'll get the most out of them if you have a speaker or headphones configured. There are currently no volume or playback controls on the videos themselves. You may restart a video at any time by pressing your browser's reload button. You may control volume through your browsers and/or operating system's built-in facilities.

This page is new as of December 2006. A few videos are currently available. More are planned for the coming months. The videos are currently rather rough, due to our rather primitive editing tools. We hope to improve the production values is the future.
